Stateside LIVE! to debut $20M renovation at South Philadelphia sports complex in May

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A new part of the South Philadelphia sports complex transformation will soon be open. As part of the grand opening festivities, Taking Back Sunday will be headlining a free show.

Stateside LIVE! will open its newly-announced $20 million outdoor expansion next month.

The renovation will include a 5,000-person-capacity outdoor music venue, along with a rooftop bar and a beer garden.

It will open on May 29, with events planned all Memorial Day weekend.

Friday

5 p.m.: Stateside LIVE! officially opens to the public
7 p.m.: Taking Back Sunday headlines a free show, along with Mayday Parade and special guest Bayside to mark the official public debut of the Coors Light Stage

Free tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. on April 17 on the Stateside LIVE! website.

Saturday

12 p.m.: Stateside LIVE! opens
7 p.m.: Two Friends performs on the outdoor stage

12 p.m.: Stateside LIVE! opens, debuting Surfside Sundays, with live, local entertainment
